Situated at the site of Nkwali Camp, far enough away to guarantee privacy but close enough for those with a hankering for evening socialising, Robin’s House is a private, two bedroom unit that is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. The house was built on the banks of the Luangwa, under a grove of mahogany and ebony trees that shade a picturesque breakfast and lunch spot. Inside, there are two luxury bedrooms with large en-suite bathrooms, as well as a comfortable, spacious living room with sofas and a dining table. Decoration throughout is very similar to Nkwali and the other Robin Pope Safaris accommodations, with minimal, clean colour schemes and subtle touches of luxury, supplemented by brightly coloured textiles and cushions.
Everything here is private, from the game drives, walks and boat cruises to the guide, chef and valet. There is even a private plunge pool, while guests can also use the larger swimming pool and the other shared facilities at Nkwali. Families love the flexibility here, as the opportunity to decide exactly what activity to enjoy at the time of your preference is perfectly suited to the unpredictable concentration spans and taste swings of younger children!
