Zambia doesn’t get any more exclusive than this. The brand new King Lewanika Lodge is the only lodge in the remote Liuwa Plain National Park. Liuwa Plain itself is home to the second largest wildebeest migration in Africa, second only to the great migration of East Africa. If you want to be far from anyone else, unlikely to see another car in your whole stay, and almost with a whole park to yourself, then this is the place for you. For those looking for somewhere unique to travel, and for the most opulent of accommodation, look no further.
The lodge opened in 2017 and is the first permanent camp in Liuwa Plain National Park, really opening the area up to more tourists, helping to conserve the wildlife there. The lodge is made up of 6 luxury villas, 1 of which is a two-bedroomed family villa able to sleep up to 5. The maximum oxxupancy is 15 – small, intimate, and utterly wild.
