The personal focus, attention to details, and passion with which the camp is run will give you an unforgettable experience. The lodge comprises of just seven rooms – six chalets, and one family house. Each room overlooks the Kafue River, offering a great chance to spot wildlife stopping for a drink even during your down time. KaingU Safari Lodge offers an ideal mix of luxury and authenticity in one of the more remote parks in Zambia.
Being just outside of the park boundaries, in the Namwala Game Management Area along the banks of the Kafue River, offers you the chance to do some walking safaris. Each day in the park begins with a 10 minute boat trip across the river to where your 4×4 safari vehicle will be waiting for you. This is a great start to any day, and saves a long drive to the main entrance of the park. No queuing here! On top of this enjoy boating, canoeing, bird watching, fishing, and a visit to Itumbi/Kaingu Community School.
