Amanzi Camp, sister camp to Anabezi Camp, lies right on the bank of the Ngwenya Channel that feeds into the Zambezi River. The name “Amanzi” was taken from the local Indebele word for “water”. This draws its inspiration from the camps location direct on the Zambezi. What could be more ideal than to relax, overlooking the rush of the mighty Zambezi River, sipping a cold drink after a game drive in the wild bush of the Lower Zambezi.
The camp has only 4 luxury safari tents, each set atop raised wooden decks, giving you fantastic views out over the river and beyond to Zimbabwe. Wildife is free to walk around this area, there are no fences, so you may have unexpected visitors, joining you for a cold drink (at the river). The camp is also family friendly, and well equipped with their family unit – perfect for parents and children alike. Combine this with the delicious fare prepared by the head chef, and you will never want to leave.
